One of the UK’s fastest growing suppliers of pharmaceuticals to medical professionals, Prostrakan has been a client of SYKES since 2008.
With an 80-strong sales team seeding stocks of point-of-sale materials into hospitals, clinics and doctors’ surgeries throughout the UK, they wanted a solution which enabled their team of sales professionals to place orders whilst on the move thus avoiding unnecessary delays.
SYKES set up a web ordering tool to facilitate this need with orders mostly shipped on the same day as each order received from reps.
As Prostrakan exhibit at trade shows and seminars and also host workshops and training days, they have an additional requirement for exhibition stands, marketing materials and promotional gifts to be delivered to various events on specific dates. And upon completion of each event, timed uplifts are implemented to either have the items returned to stock in the warehouse or transferred to a subsequent event.
SYKES is responsible for the storage and fulfilment of all materials used in the course of these activities, requiring inventory management of circa 600 SKUs and to avoid stock-out situations, SYKES assists in the replenishment process monitoring forecast and stock levels.
