Overview: A major supplier of “Value Cards” to High Street Retailers required a vendor to provide storage, scanning, inventory management and fulfilment services in order that they could supply cards in bulk to businesses as well as single card orders direct to consumers.

The cards carry a ‘virtual’ value enabling consumers to purchase goods from the retailer however these are not necessarily for one-time use and the value on the cards can be ‘topped-up’ at the retailer till-points. The cards can also be purchased from the retailers by Corporate Customers as part of employee retention/reward schemes or sold direct to residential customers of the retailer as gift cards.

Solution: We set-up a robust system and operating infrastructure to accurately scan and record the card serial numbers allocated to each business or consumer order. This information was then communicated to the client systems for subsequent activation when the end-customer contacted them with their unique password information.

Due to the nature of the information being transferred it was essential that we install secure data transfer techniques between the Client systems and our own.

By using our extensive network of couriers we are able to provide a fast, reliable and cost effective shipping option with full track and trace capabilities so that consumers can monitor their order movement to final delivery.
